I've started trying to use Excel's contour charts but the results are very poor and I'm not too sure how to improve them. a) There is always a massive gap around my chart. All I get is a narrow rectangle in the middle of the screen with loads of empty white

I want to do a Clustered Column or Stacked Column chart with a line above the columns that represents a maximum, like total available hours for the timeframe represented by the columns.

=LOOKUP(Sheet2!A2:A10,"*"&C1&"*",Sheet2!B2:B10) This resides in Sheet1, C1 is a cell that I type the search 'target' into, so it changes as needed. I get a #VALUE! error.

I need to make a chart on how many times the data in one column occurs. There doesn't seem to be a chart built into excel that does that. I'm kind of desperate, so if anyone has any idea I would REALLY appreciate the help. Thanks! Donna

I have a data range that I am charting to show percentage of total of the various data categories. The problem is there are a lot of categories under 2% I wish to combine into 1 entitled 'Misc' Does anyone know a way to combine several data points into one.
