In Excel I have added a polynomial trendline to a graph and clicked 'display equation on chart'. The equation does not represent what the trendline displays. The trendline line goes through all my 6 data points, but the when i use the equation it is wrong. Any idea's please.

on my last sheet there should be an overview of the data selected by the user. If the user doesn’t select all the blocks with data “because he thus not need that particular block”. There will be empty rows between the information on the last sheet!

I have a chart that has the left side range from 0 - 700000 @ 100000 increments, but when I select the chart & then go to Powerpoint to paste the picture it changes the range to -100000 - 700000 @ 200000 increments.

Is it possible to create graphics from data -- other than pivot tables/charts? Specifically, could I somehow create, from data that displays planned and completed dates for a project, a thermometer or some thing even better that shows completion vs. planned...?
