Hi all... I most often create scatter charts, but really want to lock the aspect ratio between the x and y axes. Haven't been able to find a setting for this. I suppose I could write a VBA routine, but thought I should ask first.

I would lik to plot a sequence of data points as vertical lines topped with either nothing, a circle, a dot or an arrow head. This is done with the stem function in Matlab, but it is in no way related to a stem-and-leaf plot.

I'd like to format the chart axis by linking the Maximum and Minimum scale to 2 cells in another worksheet. This way I can protect the sheet with the chart and the user can still change the axis. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have started using Excel to draw something called fan charts or at least attempt to. These are simply charts which are shaped like a 180 degree drawing protractor which have been segemented and words and numbers inserted into the segments.

My boss has compiled a list of 250 lines of data. He has put this into a chart on A4. He now wants the data to fit to A3 and 6 sheets wide. I know how to do it with a normal sheet, but can someone help me with doing a chart.
