I most often create scatter charts, but really want to lock the aspect
ratio between the x and y axes. Haven't been able to find a setting for
this. I suppose I could write a VBA routine, but thought I should ask first.

I am trying to generate a circular radar or XY scatter point plot using
geographical coordinates referenced to a tower in the aproximate center
(with its own geographical coordinates and the plotted data in 4 quadrants
(+X/+Y, -X/+Y, -X/-Y and +X/-Y) in order to plot the RF field ...

I would lik to plot a sequence of data points as vertical lines topped with
either nothing, a circle, a dot or an arrow head.
This is done with the stem function in Matlab, but it is in no way related
to a stem-and-leaf plot.

from a Visual Basic (6) project, I need to customize the error bar of a
chart, to get a different value for each data point.
In Excel, this is done with a range reference:

If I have bunch of data (more than 100 data) with certain standard for
Moisture Content such as between 9 - 11% with St.dev=1.21.  However, for
some reason (Research purpose) the data need to be changed between 12 - 15%
with expected St.dev=1.02.  How can I change the 100 data ...

The forth point (Control the way empty cells are plotted in a chart) is kind
of what I'm looking for, but this solution above does not help my situation.

I'd like to format the chart axis by linking the Maximum and Minimum scale to
2 cells in another worksheet.  This way I can protect the sheet with the
chart and the user can still change the axis.  Any help would be appreciated.

I have started using Excel to draw something called fan charts or at least
attempt to. These are simply charts which are shaped like a 180 degree
drawing protractor which have been segemented and words and numbers inserted
into the segments.

I hope sombody can help with a task I am working on for a colleague at work,

My boss has compiled a list of 250 lines of data. He has put this into a
chart on A4.
He now wants the data to fit to A3 and 6 sheets wide. I know how to do it
