I've checked all the formatting, the data shows up as (8.20) but when the chart plots the info it shows and prints as )8.20(. Already tried the regional settings, loaded the latest Office 2003 updates, etc. Please help. Thanks.

I have a linear chart, with 5 plot lines currently showing. Wanting to add a 6th line, I added the data label, and made sure the source data was correct (it matches the formatting of the other 5). No matter what I try, the 6th line is not appearing on the chart. Does anyone ...

I'd like to know how to plot the best straight line for a set of data points in an Excel chart, minimising error using least squares regression method. Greatly appreciate if anyone could help :) I know there's such a method, but can't figure out how to do it.

:mad: I am having a problem of using InsideLeft and InsideTop method o a PlotArea of a PlotChart. It doesn't give out an exact value, alway offset by a bit. Fairly annoying, is it a bug of Excel 97 --

I would like to create a column chart where each x-axis point (date) has 2 columns, one for forecast and one for actual, but I would like to subdivide the "actual" bar into 3 separate sections. Any ideas?? I have tried pivoting and such, but to no avail. Thanks.

I want to do a "Scatter plot with data points connected by lines" (under "X-Y (Scatter Charts)") but with a 3-D visual effect like can be done in "3-D Line" under Line charts. this would allow a user to create something like a 3-d model of any object.
