I am using pivot charts to make lots of mini charts from a large set of data.
Every time I add to the data and refresh the charts they lose their
formatting and I have to go through and reformat everything! I have to change
the colours and the font size, it’s driving me crazy.

The secondary axis in my chart is dollar value.  It is showing in thousands,
which is what I want, but the data labels I would like it to show 177 only,
for example, instead of 177,883.  It would be understood that the labels are
in thousands.  Is this possible?  Connie

I want to draw a decision tree flowchart in Excel.
Hence I need to write on the connector/line that links
two boxes.  e.g. I want to write 'YES' and 'NO' onto the
connector/line.  Is this possible?

I am charting a figure from January and I would like to have each month's
subsequent figure as a percentage of January's.   Is there any way to do
this in a chart without having to have it as a formula in the spreadsheet?

I've created 3 different line charts and am trying to combine them all into

I am a schoolteacher and grade pupils on levels which have lettered bands
within, such as 6a, 6b, 6c etc.
Is there a way to plot these on an excel chart without meassigning them

Hi, pretty self explanatory, and probably a quick fix.  Basically my
data in my chart varies between -5 and -15 on the y axis.  As a result
the X axis labels appear at the top of the chart, and not the
traditional way at the bottom.  I would like them to be at the bottom,

If in a spreadsheet you have years 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990,
2050 with associated data for each year, how do you produce a line
graph of this without 2050 being positioned at the same interval on the
x-axis as the difference between the other years? To clarify, because

I know how to manually change the scale on a value axis, but is there a way
to have the autoscale function automatically maximize the data in the chart?  
This is for a dynamic chart that can change when certain selection items are
chosen from drop-down menus.

I'd like to have several pie charts on one sheet and I cannot figure out how

I want to use the drop lines with a XY scatter chart, but unfortunately that
option is not available under 'Format Data Series'---->'Options'.
I know that this drop line option is available with other chart types like
'Line', problem is I can't use the Line chart type since it ...

I am interested in presenting 4 different data series as two stacked
columns (i.e. each column stack comprises two  data series) side by
side for each x-value on the one chart. Excel is only allowing me to
make one stacked column comprising all 4 data series.
