Excel chart draws line outside Y axis24 Jul 2006 01:36 GMT2
I have an Excel chart that appears to have a bug, as it draws a second
line outside of the Y axis.  The line is upright, but slightly shorter
and to the left of the axis.  If I hover over the line, the caption
read "Value Axis", the same as it does over the real value axis.

I understand using the offset and named range
However, when I go into the data range (of the chart) and try to put in the
range that I created - it doesn't stick.  Meaning I can type in the range
name - hit okay and when go back to date range the name is not there

After gaining a balance from the equation =D6-E6 there are brackets
surrounding the answer. Instead of brackets, when the value has saved money
is it possible for  there to be a "+" sign, and when the value has lost money
is it possible to have a "-" sign?  How is this possible?
