I would like to make a graphic with non-numerical data on X axis (e.g. names of persons or cities). When I use the normal graphic construction procedure in Excell, numbers are generated (1, 2, 3 ...) in place of the text of the X axis column. can anyone help me? Thanks.

I have data of my weekly pay and hours worked. I want to show the correlation between the two. When I do a linear regression it doesn't work, and I don't understand why the correl function is for the range of each data set.

I'm trying to generate a scatter line graph that occasionally has data points with no value. Instead of treating these as zero or interpolating the missing data, is there a way to have the chart stop the line until there is an associated value?
