Suppress X Axis Scaling21 Feb 2007 15:36 GMT1
I have a table I’m charting.  There are 15 textual descriptions in a column
and 6 date field headings.  When I grab that table and switch the “Series In:
to rows, the chart builds correctly – to some degree.  Though there are only
6 contiguous date field headings, the dates are ...
Values on 'y' axis - columm chart type21 Feb 2007 15:27 GMT1
I just open an spreadsheet with some graphs I did a few days ago and it
appears as if the values on the 'y' axis have been rounded up
(0,1,1,2,2,3,3,4,4,5....etc) instead of been in a scale (0, 0.5, 1, 1.5,
2.....etc). The source data for the graph has not changed.
Can I use an array formula as a series in an Excel chart21 Feb 2007 15:13 GMT1
IS is possible to use an arrange formula as a series when constructing an
Excel chart. For example, in the Chart Wizard, on the series tab, add a
series and enter an array formula in the values box?
More than 255 data series21 Feb 2007 13:02 GMT5
Is there any reasonable workaround for including more than 255 data series in
an Excel chart?  Ideally, I need to be able to show over 1000 data series in
a chart.
Now, I know that you might question the legibility of a chart with that many
Stacked Column 2 sets of data for 2 years21 Feb 2007 04:36 GMT3
Is this possible?  Create stacked columns for Lease & Depreciation % of
Revenue for years 2006 and 2007 for business units.  Note that Lease % &
Depreciation % of revenue is not in contiguous rows.
I would like to have a stacked column to show 2006 lease/depreciation for
Amortization Table21 Feb 2007 03:32 GMT1
Is there an amortization table in Excel with Office 2000 Professional. If so,
how do I access it? If not where can I get one free. I need to figure
payments for a 3 year loan at 10% interest.
Axis label question21 Feb 2007 01:14 GMT6
Using Excel 2003, often the last few characters of the value (Y) axis label
are not displayed when creating a data chart.  Does anyone know how to fix
this
problem?  I've sometimes been able to force it to display the last characters
Bar chart with Y Axes Categories20 Feb 2007 21:58 GMT6
I have very little experience with charts, so I really appreciate your help.
I have a column of employees' "Years until retirement"  (approx 139
employees).  I'd like a chart that shows a bar for 0-5 years, 6-9 years,
10-14 years, 15-19 years, 20-24 years, 25-29 years and 30+.
Value axis label cuts off20 Feb 2007 18:07 GMT2
Using Excel 2003, often the last few characters of the value (Y) axis label
will be cut off when creating a data chart.  Does anyone know how to fix this
problem?  I've sometimes been able to force it to display the last characters
by adding a couple spaces at the end, but this ...
Formatting data table20 Feb 2007 17:34 GMT1
I have a data table shown under a diagram. However it won't display all the
decimals. I.e. in the input to the diagram for january 2006 is 1.123, but
only 1.1 is shown in the data table. The only solution seems to be to enlarge
the diagram but this is not an option in this ...
combining a stacked column and line chart together20 Feb 2007 16:10 GMT1
I need to know how I combine a stacked column chart with a line chart (2 or
more lines are required on the chart) with two different y axis values.
Reinstitute series name as title20 Feb 2007 14:05 GMT3
Excel 2000 has the convenient feature that the title of a single-series chart
is set to the name of the series.  A couple questions:
1. Sometimes this title gets deleted.  In such a case, how do I reinstitute
that the title should be the same as the series name.
Negative Data labels disappear20 Feb 2007 10:20 GMT5
I can only see negative data labels when I increase the maximum of the
x-scale. Why is this happening and what can I do to avoid it? Cause if I
increase the x-scale too much than the bars are very small and do not look
nice.
charting  locations over time instead of numbers20 Feb 2007 03:15 GMT12
I am new to charts in Excel.  But nothing I have found leads me to believe
the following is possible for Excel, hence the question.
My three variables are: location, date, and mission number (two letters
followed by a four digit number in a single cell).  All three variables are
Dynamic Data Import From Access19 Feb 2007 19:26 GMT1
I have tried a few different methods to try and generate charts on my data
set.  The data set is dynamic but I'm sure it can be formatted to fit the
series of charts I want to generate.
I created an Access Database that pulls outstanding jobs data from our
