I have a file that is created in 97-2003, after it is opened in excel 2007
and then saved back to 97-2003 version when it is reopened the charts that
are included are not showing any of the text data or information that was
added to the charts.  Anyone else have this problem or ...

one page)  to create and show actual and budget data on a line graph,

in chart types other than pies? When I drag my labels away from the data in a

Imagine that your income comes from two streams. To make clearer the
year-on-year differecnes you like to display a 3D chart by year by month, but
use a stacked column to show the two income streams:

How do I add tick marks on the x axis for irregular time periods.  Each
period may have only 5 points of data or 12 points.  The name of each period
needs to be between the tick marks to indicate the exact time period.

I have data I would like to chart in a line graph.  Is there a way to display
a line graph and prevent the line dipping to zero for zeros?  I've tried to
no avail to reference or convert zeros as a blank cell as the chart will not
consider the blank as a point on the graph line.  ...

Has anyone tried to format a vertical gridline in 007?
Everytime I try it, the horizontal gridlines are formatted instead.
And I can't select the veretical lines with the mouse (I have to use
the layout format selection).

How do I force Excel to Label every bar on a bar chart?  I have a simple bar
chart that I would like to have the X Axis Label on every bar except Excel
skips and labels every other one.  How do I force it to label each one?

Two of my charts recently stopped displaying properly. When I refresh
the data behind them, the automatic X axis drops most of its range and
the chart either stops drawing most the ranges or collapses them to
