Im making a simple chart with just total time and lost time and causes for
that lost time. Adding the total time and lost time to the chart is easy
enough but i want to add a causes line which is just text, can this be done?,

This add in is great, until I add a filter to the underlying XY & label data.
I need to apply a filter as I have several hundred XY co-ordinates & labels,
and regularly need to filter down to different subsets of the data.

While I appreciate that not every function survives from one version to the
next, this is one I sorely miss !
I use Excel 2003 at work, and 2007 at home.  I can stand the constant
bleating about compatability. I can even (barely) tolerate the highlight

I am trying to graph an inequality, and to do so I need to shade just a
specific part of the graph above the line.

I have a chart, created by another, that changes size automatically when I
expand or shrink the Excel window. He can't remember how he did this, and I
would like to duplicate this feature on other charts. Can't find anything in

We just ran into a real problem where the Charting on Excel will recalculate
your numbers.
Excel wants to make it 100%
The problem is that our numbers are not 100%.

I am trying to create graph that has market areas (x-axis), brands (y-axis)
and one data set in columns for actual price and a line for budget price. Is

Under Chart type... there is a built-in category....i see that it has
line-column on 2 axes..but i wanted to know if its possible to have it the
other way around...
that is: One column and 2 Lines showing  on my graph.

I am trying to create a Graph from a bunch of addresses and have them show up
on a map of California/U.S.A.  I was wondering if anyone has done that and
can help me.

If you have one column in a chart that is so tall it distorts the rest of the
columns, i.e.  they are so small you cannot distinguish the reading, is there
a way of creating a split in the one column and the axis?
