Dynamically Shifting Ranges31 Jul 2008 18:40 GMT1
I use charts to display 21-periods of data.  Every period new data is
entered, and I have to mannually change the range of values for each series
to a new 21-row range.  From last period's range of "Sheet!L50:L70" to the
new period's range of "Sheet!L51:L71" for example.

Adding multiple series to charts30 Jul 2008 21:49 GMT15
My, the sign-on process was annoying!  I had to click "allow this" 12 times
after I started counting, just so I could ask this question.
In Excel 2007, how do I add multiple series of data to a scatter chart?  It
appears to only allow you to add one series at a time.
Excel Chart Window30 Jul 2008 21:46 GMT1
In Excel 03, you could right click on a chart and choose "Chart Window" to
open up a temporary window that could be expanded without changing the
position/size of the underlying chart.  I can't seem to find this command in
2007 and, as a result, if I want to look at a chart more ...
Problem with Charting Null Values30 Jul 2008 21:45 GMT7
I had several charts that I have around for a long time which worked
famously.  When the dataset values were NULL (not ZERO) the line stopped.
This is what I want to happen.
Recently I made some minor changes in the chart size and position on the
Auto adjust dates in a chart30 Jul 2008 18:01 GMT1
I would like to build a line chart that automatically plots values for the

etc. in a series for the following 13 cells down to now()-14. This column
Column Chart Thickness of Bars30 Jul 2008 17:59 GMT1
I need to graph the amount of concrete poured against the planned amount for
each week over about 60 weeks.  When I create a Column Chart in Excel 2007
the bars in the chart are thin lines, I have tried to format the Data Series
and remove the gap width but this does not seem to ...
Using INDIRECT in the SERIES function...possible?30 Jul 2008 17:56 GMT1
Here is a static formula for the Series "Loads"
=SERIES(Hypo!$I$2,Hypo!Labels2,Collect.xls!Loads2,4)
This only graphs what is on the Hypo page.  (By the way, why is the last
Hypo subbed with Collect.xls?)
graph variance components when 1 is negative30 Jul 2008 17:48 GMT4
I'm trying to graph the components of a year-over-year variance (example,
fuel, new store growth, realigment of stores, etc.), along with the total
variance, but one of the components is negative.  If I just take the
individual variances and graph in a bar chart, the size of the ...
Vanishing plot lines30 Jul 2008 14:43 GMT2
I have been going through torture with Microsoft Tech Support, paid $49.00
incident fee yesterday and after more than an hour only got part of solution,
same thing happened on follow up today. I have been "escalated" to top guru
support but they haven't called me back yet, and ...
Charting Sunrise / Sunset30 Jul 2008 05:36 GMT4
I can do simple charts & graphs, but this is a little more complex than what I'm used to.  Can someone give me some pointers on how to create a graph / chart that shows the yearly sunrise & sunset?  Here's a snippet of the data I'm working with and I think I got it from; http ...
how to create a line chart with data from multiple worksheets29 Jul 2008 23:09 GMT4
Okay I've seen this subject line in several postings but this may or may not
be a bit different.  I'd like to create a line graph of my monthly expenses.
I have an expense worksheet for each month and a workbook for each year.  How
can I plot one value for each month (my monthly ...
Too Much Chart Data for Excel Col Limits29 Jul 2008 23:06 GMT7
I have a user who wants to generate a chart from a really large set of data,
too much to fit within the 256 columns available in Excel 2003.  (No,
transposing the data won't work either, there's too much in BOTH directions!)
Can anybody suggest a way to handle that?  I thought ...
