When I use the Ctrl key to select more than one range, not all of the ranges
"selected" are selected. It only selects one X axis range and one Y axis
range from several selected ranges. Do I need to activate something somewhere
to make it work right?

It appears that I cannot print a line-only scatter plot with more than 2709
points in the series.  
In a new workbook, I filled column A with "=row()" and column B with

prior to excel 2007, i recall a setting for the y-axis, something like "Major
Unit" and "Minor Unit" - i could set my y-axis to be 0,5,10,15,20.... or
0,10,20...depending on the Major or Minor unit values. is that ability still
in excel 2007??

every chart i create has a y-axis starting at 0, even if my data is something
like 100,101,105,99 (all close to ~100). ideally, the chart's y-axis ~should
be something like 90 - 110, or something like that. is that just how excel
(2007) works?? i know i can manully change max and ...

My boss asked me to make a graph on one of his spreadsheets more user
friendly...so that you could put a start and end date in two ajacent cells
