I copied a workbook from the desktop to the Excel folder and now when I try to open this workbook, I get the error messages :"Excel cannot access 'CHECK REGISTER FY 2002- 2003.XLS'. The document may be read only or encrypted."

When I try to open excel, its starts opening hundreds of worksheets and doesn't stop until it runs out of memory. What can I do? I have uninstalled and reinstalled with no luck. Thanks

I had tried to change the default worksheet template and somewhere along the way I messed things up real good. Excel will now attempt to open all of the files in My Documents; regardless of what format they are.

Is there a size limit to Excel workbooks? My accounting department is using Excel as an Accounting system and the main workbook is 100MB. It is linked to several other workbooks and some of those links do not exist anymore.
