Our organization keeps receiving the following error when
attempting to save a shared Excel document:
"The instruction at "0x0061006d" reference memory
at "0x0061006d". The memory could not be "read".

so i was trying to do something in excel, and it crashed,
which doesn't really bother me that much, since document
recovery should work... but, when i try to start excel
again, it crashes without showing me anything in the

When I double click on a .xls file I receive messg "Cannot
find the file (file I tried to open) or one of its
components".  I can open the file from within EXCEL 2002.  
I tried /unregserver and /regserver based upon suggestion

I have experienced the excel problem where files wont open
unless you browse from within excel itself. I know about
the "ignore other applications" check box too. My question
is this, what causes the ignore other apps box to suddenly

This is a problem I've encountered at work, and I've
actually changed to a new computer and I seem to have the
problem once again.
Anytime I try to open any excel file my computer freezes

excel will not run. my computer freezes when I try to run
