I was online and trying to update the Microsoft security
patch and the instructions asked me to put the Microsoft
Office SR-1 disk in.  I don't have that disk, so I
cancelled the operation and the udpate "failed."

When I try to open excel, it freezes up, then i get
a "system is busy" message, followed by "A fatal exception
oe has occured at 0367:bff9dba7"  Then the system shuts
down.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

After I open Excel many sheets start to open with garbage
inside each one of them. After a while the system asks me
to save the files. I cancel and exit out. Not sure whats
causing the application to do that. I have removed and

I have an Excel file created in Excel 2000 which appears
to be corrupted.  I tried opening it, but it just would
not open to show the work sheet.  Double clicking on the
file's shortcut would only open Excel and a gray screen
