I keep getting this fault in Excel 97 when opening the
file.  Can anyone help me understand why?

I cannot open Excel.  I deleted it and reinstalled.  
Still cannot open.  I am not getting any errors.  All my

An additional note to the one I posted earlier this

I also downloaded office updates to office 2000
yesterday, 1-8-04, and now it takes 90 seconds to open
excel to a blank worksheet, and about 60 seconds to open

i'm having difficulty opening up excel and then when it
finally opens it takes a long time to open up a file

When copying some numbers from our intranet or from a .txt
file, Excel often changes the end of the numbers or
totally changes the formatting of the numbers.  When I try
to reformat the cells, most of the time it gives me most

excel 97 is not saving to network drive correctly.  Temp
files are being generated.  Latest SR1 SR2 have been
