I open excel then try to open a csv file with a txt extension excel displays "html opening" in the bottom of excel then excel locks. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. The reason I use the txt extension is so

When I open Excel or an existing Excel file, Excel opens 3 other files. One file is an html file, one is a text file and the other is a registry file. None of them are excel files. Any help would be great. Thanks. Matt
