WHEN I GO TO THE TOOLS MENU AND GO TO OPTIONS I GET "EXCEL.EXE HAS GENERATED ERRORS AND WILL BE CLOSED BY WINDOWS". WORKBOOK THEN CLOSES. EVERYTHING ELSE SEEMS TO BE NORMAL.

I have a problem with a .xls file. It opens but it doesn't. What I mean is that Excel thinks it's open but nothing happens. The Excel window remains blank and the menu selections that would be active with an open file

Excel 97 crashes after trying to save a file that has been edited with inserting line breaks. It is only one file that it does this on, and the file does not crash when the same thing is done on another PC
