In Excel, how many characters can be used for a range name? Can't find that
answer ANYWHERE. Guess I could just type 12345.....etc but thought the help
screen would help.

1900 was not a leap yr and exel considers it to be leap yr. Fortunetly the
weekdays are wrong only before the day 61 (1-03-1900) but the counting of
days IS wrong from that date on. This could be a pain while working with
ancient dates.

I have a list of numbers that = 6960.23 in excel.  However, when I take those
same numbers and add them with a calculator by hand, they = 6960.26.  Why is
there a .03 cent difference?

When clicking on a shortcut or file excel opens but the target workbook does
not.  To open the workbook you must click open file from inside excel and
click on it in the open window. How do I return it to normal operation? I've
already tried detect and repair with no luck.
