I am trying to use percentage formatting for my data cells.  The formatting
dialogue box claims that choosing "percentage" has the result of multiplying

Excel 2003 has the ability to save a tab delimited text file. Everything in
that regard works properly except when a certain cell has some text that
contains commas, for example, if cell A1 contains "BLAH" and A2 contains "A,
B, C", then saving as a tab delimited text does not ...

Tried everything on web site and run detect and repair, deleted all *.xls
files relating to adobe, still get the error
i cannot edit formulas in Excel (2000) as the program instantly c.26 Jan 2005 16:08 GMT1
Excel crashes immediately whenever I attept to edit a formula (by pressing
the = button). It looks like a conflict, but the same problem occurs, even
when in safe mode - so identifying where is difficult. Repairing/reinstalling
does not solve the problem.
