I was sent an Excel file that I opened wich had numbers rather than letters
for the columns. Now when I open Excel my new sheets are like this also.

I'm currently running Windows XP sp2 on a brand new computer. I installed
Office2000 Small Business. Excel was acting strangely - if I clicked on a
cell, I was completely unable to click anywhere else. I could not deselect
it. Moving the cursor around just selected everything ...

Why am I not able to directly open a doc. and get this window message:
Cannot find the file ‘                 ‘ (or one of its components). Make
sure the path and filename are correct and that all required libraries are
available.

This pivot table worked in Excel2000.  Why am I getting this message in
Excel2003?

Running Windows XP,  All my Office apps don't work, Outlook express, Word,
Excel, say that my worksheets are read only and can't find valid path.
Re-installed XP os no change. Tried to uninstall, get fatal error 82  aborts.

when formulas are set to add a column of currency, the result is more than
what it should be.  when there is zero dollars in a cell, some are listed as
$      and others are listed as $  0.00 and others are $0.00.  the ones that
are $  0.00 and $0.00 are the ones that are causing ...

I have customized my toolbars.  They remained so for some time.  About a week
ago I started having this problem.  Every time I exit Excel, all customized
settings disappear from my toolbars.  

Okay, this has me baffled.  If I open up excel and do a File | Open and then
select the spreadsheet I want to open, it opens in a split second.  However,
if Excel is not open, and I double click a spreadsheet on my desktop, it
takes an EXTREMELY long time for the spreadsheet to ...

When starting Excel 2003 sp1 I get a message saying "Not enough system
resources to display completely" and then when I click OK it sometimes goes
and sometimes doesn’t. Also when i type anything in a cell the message
appears again.

How do I stop "0" appearing when the linked cell is blank?

I'm using an access database as an external data source for a pivot table.  
The access table is linked to a semi-colon delimited text file.  After
completing the wizard with the following parameters, I get the error "Syntax
Error in FROM clause"
