I restored and upgraded my computer to xp.  I had old excel spreadsheets full
of client information saved on disk.  I am getting a "unable to read file"
error when trying to open these.

From time to time when I select a cell with the mouse, the pointer then
starts to drag selecting all the cells as if i had the left button of the
