I am seeing problems with Excel 2003 when the Text contents of a Cell will
not display in the worksheet.  When I click into the cell to edit it, the

I'm running Office 97 on XP SP2 and every time I open a file I get the
following message. A document with the name *.xls is already open. I have no
other  .xls files open can anyone give me some advice please.

When I try to copy nonadjacent cells I get an error "This command cannot be
used on multiple selections, is the true? I found the following information
when I searched the Inteernet for the answer to this question  "NOTE:  
Nonadjacent cells cannot be copied simultaneously."

This is the situation:  I just got a new laptop, and used the User State
Migration Tool to transfer my profile to the new laptop.  Now when I start
Excel (not opening anything) I get the following 4 messages:

I am able to copy and paste information between worksheets.  But the paste
feature is disable when copying between workbooks.  

What does the error message 'too many different cell formats' mean in excel?
I cannot open a spreadsheet that was sent to me by a Java interface from an
iSeries.

Here is the error message I get:
'file.xls' cannot be accessed. The file may be read only, or you may be
trying to access a read only location. Or, the server the document is stored
on may not be responding.  

I am coping cells from one workbook to another workbook and when I paste the
content it is truncated to 255 charters. It does work correctly in the same
worksheet and worksheet to worksheet but from one file to an other, each
cells content is shortened to 255 charters. any ideas

I want to be able to superscript a single character within a formula in
excel. Is there any way that I can add a superscript number in this way????
