Using Excel 2003 SP2 and the prescribed methods in converting test to numbers
do not work.  i.e.Copy value and Edit/ Paste Special/ Operation
(Add/Multiply) does not work.  Is there a problem with this version?

In Excel 2003 if cell format is set to Date and you try to switch it to
Currency it goes to General. Then you can switch it to Currency from General
but it won't switch directly from Date. Happens every time.

I have tried moving the pdfmaker.xla and .dot files and fixed the problem

FORMULA NOT DISPLAYING CORRECT RESULT
The following is much simplified over what I actually need to do, but
illustrates the inconsistent behavior of the formula.
SETUP

I am using the function getpivotdata in excel, and I ask for the total amount
on diffrent acounts I have in my pivottabel. If there are no data on the
acount I get the answer #reference! because the acount not exist in my
pivottabel. Insted I want to get 0.

using micrsoft excel,  I have a column filled with six digit numbers,I have
inadvertantly doubled up on these numbers two or three times, so now I have a
list of numbers four or five times as long as it should be running in to
about three thousand different numbers ,

When I double click to open the Exel 2002 program, the error message "(null)
is not a valid Win32 application" apeared.
