When trying to open a file within Excel 2003, directory window freezes, then

One a single workstation Excel hangs when I open a .csv file from the server
and try to SaveAs
I have installed all the current updates to Excel, rebooted the workstation.
Any other suggestions about what can be wrong and how I can fix?

I can use Excel but when I try to save a document the system freezes or

Trying to do a save as in file on a new document created from template. As

hi, I'm experiencing some problems at the startup of excel
when I try to open a random .xls document, it comes up with an error,
I can try to push the okay button, but that only makes the error re-apear so
I can't quit excel again, unless I use the task manager.
