I've got both Excel 5.0 and Excel 2000 installed on my Windows 2000
workstation.
I've noticed that after opening a spread sheet that had been created using
Excel 5.0 the excel file types have been changing back to Excel 5.0. I'm

When I try to open a file in my work place, it took a long time( 3-4 minutes
)to do so. This happen regular but not all the time. All my windows are
up-to-date. Only 3 PC with the condition like this, the rest of my colleague
PC is working smoothly.

I've got Excel 5.0 and Excel 2000 on a box with Windows 2000 OS(we are
upgrading from Excel 5 to Excel 2000). I've disable Excel 5.0 by renaming the
Excel executable. Then I'm running "Excel.exe /regserver" to make Excel 2000
