Excel only flashes up when trying to open it.  Double-clicking a file gets
the following message: Cannot find the file "filename" (or one of its
components).  Make sure the path and filename are correct and that all
required libraries are available.

Okay - Excel stopped working - everything else works (Powerpoint, outlook and
word), yet Excel won't open.  it makes a noise and the loading screen very
briefly pops up but it goes away.
I've opened it in safe mode and that worked, but I can't open it outside of

The number format appears for example 2.000,00 instead 2,000.00
The decimal point appears as a comma, and thouthand separator appears as a
period.

The number format appears unusual.

I have downloaded and installed Beta 2 Technical Refresh on 5.10.2006.
Surprisingly I could not open any file previously I saved using MS Office
2007 (Beta 1). This involved files of MS Excel and MS Word. The error message

I have an entire column formatted to accounting. But, when I type in a
certain amount - $50.47 it changes that to display "14 Marena St47" . What is
this- even when i change that cell to 'text' format, it still always displays
