Excel only flashes up when trying to open it. Double-clicking a file gets the following message: Cannot find the file "filename" (or one of its components). Make sure the path and filename are correct and that all required libraries are available.

Okay - Excel stopped working - everything else works (Powerpoint, outlook and word), yet Excel won't open. it makes a noise and the loading screen very briefly pops up but it goes away. I've opened it in safe mode and that worked, but I can't open it outside of

The number format appears for example 2.000,00 instead 2,000.00 The decimal point appears as a comma, and thouthand separator appears as a period.

All the settings on the servers are UK/English yet short dates in Excel are showing US format. We are using Windows 2003 servers running Office 2000 and all sessions are via Terminal Services.
