Does anyone know of an auto-format, auto-fill setting in Excel that would
force any input into a cell to become a formula?  For example, we're trying
to enter dates into a worksheet, but everywhere we try to input a date, say,
5/21/07, the cell value is being forced into =5/21/7. ...

I created my own function which does work correctly. After doing some work,
the cells using this function are displaying #Value. Since the function did
work before and I did not change anything I was a bit worried.

XP Home; SP2.  Office 2003.
Sunday, when I double click on a saved .xls file, it opened to the workbook
fine.
Monday, double click the same file and a blank file opens... all the task

After I installed (and then uninstalled because I didn't like it) IE7.0 I

Usually when I would click on a .xls file from "My Computer", or from an

I have enetered a link to another worksheet cell, say in cell C2: =Sheet2!A1.
The result in C2 indicates the formula (=A1) and not the answer of A1.  Note

I attempt to insert 2 columns in a medium large spreadsheet.  Excel just
hangs up and I must kill session.  I can accomplish same thing by adding cell
and moving right.

I have tried to refresh a pivot table retrieving data from a large database
and get the following error:
"There are too many records to complete this operation."
There were no problems refreshing when I first created the pivot table and
