I cannot open a corrupt excel 2003 file.  I have tried everything that
Microsoft suggests.

for some reason when I open excel, access or outlook I am getting an error
that states there are no office assistant character files present on the
system. Please run setup in maintenance mode and install at least one
character.

it work fine, but when I try to put this code in button from Sheet2

I used in a day ago, but now it wont work.  I can open excel, or open or
close a file, but I can't do anything to it or the blank file.  I can move
the cursor around, highlight things, use the scroll bar, and I think it will
let me print.

say if i type in "1-Jan" in cell A1, "15" in cell A2, and "=A1+A2" in cell A3
cell A3 should show "16-Jan"
