Excel 2003. After a crash I am unable to open either the original file or the
recovered file. When closing excel it notifies separately that each file is
open and asks whether to save changes before closing. Other files open and
close as expected. Any guidance?

I have a excel which seems now allowed me to delete any sheets.
Those methods I tried to delete the sheet are as follows:
1. right click on the sheet tab, only "select all sheets" and "view codes"

I am typing in a structured worksheet completed by another person.
The cell that I have pasted a text in does not display the complete text.
If you click on the cell the text is shown.  I have explored the idea of
changing the format cells clicking on unwrapping text and merge cells ...

"=Sum(R3:R14)" There are 3 entries in this column but 2+2 =3 every time,
adding more entries still 1 short on total. I have checked for hidden
columns/rows and there are none.

Our company president has a laptop with Vista and Excel 2007. Whenever he
