I have office 2003 and recently did the 2007 patch (so I can open documents
made in 2007).  now I can't open Excel.  all other office works but I receive

files without any formulas involved, the files do save fine.  If the user
edits a file with formulas, or if she uses the cut/copy/paste method with

I somehow turned the Task Pane off while saving a Template, and now every
time I start the Excel application the Task Pane does not display.
How do I get it back to displaying by default when I open Excel up?

I have just installed Office 2007 (Enterprise) and using Groove. Colleagues
have added .xlsx files to the workspace but when I double click to open them
they come up as gobbledegook in Wordpad rather than Excel.  Have tried saving
them to the desktop and then opening with Excel ...

I have som users that share workbooks. After we installed SP2 Excel crashes
when they try to save these workbooks.

I have a table with three names

Have I inserted a named range called z.
When I use the formulae =VLOOKUP("Exam",z,2) it returns the value I expect

Running Excel 2007.  After closing last open worksheet/workbook, te
application stays open.  This means I have to click the red x twice to get
out of the app.  I am ssuming that there is some setting for this.

I calculate the Interquartile Range for the following values both by hand and
using the Minitab Statistical Package I get an IQR = 20 that is the 3rd
quartile of 105 - the first quartile of 85 but when I use Excel 2007 I get
IQR = 15 = (102.5-87.5).
