I'm not very advanced with excel.  This is what I'm trying to do:

I am trying to sort a set of dates by year. The format is for example:
01.06.95
02.06.03
15.06.01

I wish to loop through the first column of a workbook, and delete any
rows that do not have a number in them.
I have the looping sorted, but for the life of me I can't find a way
for excel to detect a number:

Every year I must submit a fifty question evalution to my
colleagues.  They judge my work performance.
They score me 1-5 (weak to outstanding) or X (N/A)
I have to tally them to a summary sheet.

I have a list of names that has the first and last name in
the same cell, with the first name appearing first.  I

If i knew Access, it'd be a great help, but unfortunately I don't, so

I am determining how old a child was at a specific date.  I am using the following formula:  =year(a3)-year(a2).  My problem is that the result is always rounded up, giving me an age that is actually one year older.  Can anyone help me?

Is there an automated way to copy the data values in a row
(ordered left to right) to a series of data values in the
same order (top to bottom) in a column?
