i have a read only access on an excel file.this file
contains other linked excel worksheet.After changing the
path of the file i can't open it,the system gives me
message that all the linked files aren't found.

When I open Excel my column headers are numbers instead of
letters?

I meant to hit <CTL> + <SHIFT> + <DOWNARROW>  to select a column of data
but instead I hit  <CTL> + <ALT> + <DOWNARROW>
and now everything is upside down!
Tried repeating <CTL> + <ALT> + <DOWNARROW> but no change.

An example would be using it for invoices, you want the
invoice number to go up by one evertime you open that
worksheet.
Can this be done with a function?

I am trying to write a sheet that will reference a formula from a table and have the formula calculated off of an entered value.  essentially automating a process that these steps are currently done manually.

I have 2 questions:
1. How can I add a worksheet to a workbook with a name that I specify?
2. How can I test for the existance of a worksheet by name...and then
delete it if I find it?

Is there a way to auto save a workbook in Excel 97?  I would like it to save every 5 minutes.
