I noticed this formula in a recent post:
=SUMPRODUCT(--(C2:C6>0),--(F2:F6="QQQ"))
What does the -- signify?

I've got two similar problems about loans which Excel
should be able to help me on.
1) In Texas, home equity loans can only be 80% of the
house value, and closing costs can only be 3% of the

I am trying to make a spreadsheet where I am trying to have the same

I am working on a time sheet and I used the formula =MOD
(B1-A1,1) and now I need to add those cells together and
it is not giving the correct answer.  For instance I know
I worked 31 hours but it is giving the total of 16.

Two problems have developed in only one worksheet file. I

I notice that Quatro Pro for years has had the ability to
adjust worksheet size.  So instead of having 256col x 65k
rows, you could switch and have 65k col x 256 rows, or
anything in between.  Does anyone know if Excel will one
