I'm amortizing 40-year notes using PPMT to calculate the principal payment.  
For each new monthly payment I have to manually change PER in the formula.  
I'm using Excel 2003.  Is there any easier way to do this?-

I have an excel s/s and several cells contain the same formula,
"{=TABLE(E15,E9)}". How can i find out what TABLE(E15,E9) is doing? I
think it's performing some type of calculation. Is it a table array?

When I insert a new row, I would like to keep the formula in a cell from
moving down.  I believe I used to use the $ sign around the cell in the
formula, but this no longer works with 2003.

In my excel 2003 workbook, I use a lookup formula to look up a value in a
different worksheet.  The value is found in the range, but I cannot see the
value (the range is only 1 column, and 60 rows.  What is going on?  What am I
missing?

when i copy a formula to another cell it does it correctly, but it also shows
the same value from the copied cell.
