I am trying to create a rate schedule for furniture delivery in Excel 2003. I
would like Excel to automatically fill in the rate if I type in the state
delivered to and the weight of the item. See example below.

Does anyone know how I can insert a picture and have it automatically size to

Yet another problem in my world of elaborate worksheets.
I need to calculate the MTD average based on todays date.
Have mdae several attempts but clearly do not quite have the skill.

I want enter the date as 190805 (or any date) ie without any slash into A1.
In A2 it shoulddisplay as 19-Aug-05.  Without using VBA can the MOD be
applied. I experimented the following formula (from this ng) changing "TIME"
to "DATE"  but just cannot get it.  

I can use Countif to count the number of "Pass" in column AV however I only
want to  count "Pass" in column AV if Am (same row) = "High"
I tried =Countif(AM:AM,"High")AND,Countif(AV:AV,"Pass") but that did not
work!

I am using Excel 2000.
I have an IF formula. It first looks to see if J16>0. If it is, I want it to
look at B16 and see if there is any number including zero (0) in the cell. If
there is, it is to use B16, if not it is to use cell A16.

I have a spreadsheet that has some cells with no data in them.
Some will never have data, others will as the project progresses.
The pivot table report puts the word (blank) in the report for those cells.
The only solution I have found is to go to each empty cell in the source

I'm trying to write a formula which will generate a value in one cell
dependent on what the user chooses in the other.  See below for example (the
worksheet is to record the charges incurred when certain rooms within a
complex are booked).

I need to split data.  A cell contains CHH05 and I need a formula that will
give a result of CHH.
Could someone suggest a solution?
