I am trying to get data to sort so that when I sort by a column, i
actually moves all the data in the row along with it as though tha
data was anchored to it.
Example

I know that my "if" statement can only contain 7 nested functions, so here's
my problem.  I have the following table:
Long Term Disability = LD                Active Part-Time = AP
Active Full Time = AF                      Terminated = T

I.e. syntax for getpivotdata is
GETPIVOTDATA(data_field,pivot_table,field1,item1,field2,item2,...)
I'd like the data_field to be a reference, but I get #REF errors when I try
this.

Is it possible to use formulas between tabs in a worksheet in Excel?

I'm using Excel 2000 and want to use wild cards..  For instance, I'm using
the sumif function and want to put something like
=SUMIF(wslacct,"1100550??20",wsldr)-SUMIF(wslacct,"1100550??20",wslcr)
and excel just doesn't seem to like this.  Is there some way I can get excel

column of dates (Data Validation prevents entry of a weekend date i

box" and the "=if" formula in combination like this?

ok, I have a situation where I have 2 cells on sheet2 that define the
starting and stopping points of a range that I need to reference.  I
need to reference them from another sheet (sheet1).  I cannot however
get it to work.
