How do I find the Gage R and R templates?  Everyone at work and in my class
has them built into their version of Exce.

cell c5   ( has a pulldown with 9 different values)
cells c10:c20 (blank cells needing values relative to value put in c5)

row, copy a new set of data into the new C4, but use the same formula

Can any one give me the formula for doing permutations
ie. odds against picking 6 numbers, not in numerical order, from 45 numbers.
Excel's  PERMUT function for =Permut(45.6) returns odds of 5,864,443,200
This seems too excessive, it's more like the odds of picking the 6 numbers

if,then statement returns a false because alpha string is more than 5
characters.
Example:
=IF(C6="Travel","True","False") and cell 'C6' does equal "travel". It works

I have a spreadsheet where I am trying to count the number of cells that have
a value in them.  this is for counting raw material on either skids or metal
coils that is in inventory.
Here is what I am trying to do:

I use the serial number date as the 'find' part of Vlookup in anothe
worksheet which is sorted properly by date. I place at the head of th
column the date I want selected and use a concatenate to try and ge

Why can't I use this?  Autofilter works fine.  I've carefully gone through
help to set up the table and criteria range correctly.    Excel 2003 SP1.
