when I put a numbers in the cell and click inter..I see the formula in the
appointed cell but not the number it self  ..please help

I am trying to make up new employee time sheets.  What I am wanting to do is
when I enter all the hours on each individual sheet for a project the actual
hour will convert over to the project hours sheet at the same time.  How do I
do this.

    can anybody helpme out to put formula using if or any other
function, to get a desired value using a random formula.

I have a Question regarding nesting of formulae in one cell.
Cell A1 can have any integer value between 1 to 100.

Hello, Can someone help me solve this problem.  I have a mailing list
consisting of single cell names (first <could be initials>, Middle, Last, and
a sufix <Sr. Jr. IV, etc.>).  What I have been trying to do is to separate
the names into two columns,  

I'm trying to validate cell D1 so only weekend dates are approved *or
the text Paid. I have tried this in the custom formula box:
=OR(WEEKDAY(D1,2)>5,D1="Paid")
This accepts weekend dates but for some reason won't accept the tex

Coul you tell me any method beside macro if I want the cell A2 to return any
number or text if cell A1 is filled with colour.

I need to search alphanumeric contents of column A with the contents of
column c.  If a match is found, I want to display the contents of  the
adjoining cell in column b.
Ex:

if a:a contains "*Total Tele*", then add C:C if C:C is <24

Feb the 4th then every calendar days colour the cell red so in this instance
March the 4th being the 28th day the cell will change to a red background.

Ok I have another question.  
With the =today() function is there a way to automaticaly make the date a
value so It will not change again,   say once you mail the file, or when you
post it to web folder or something?
