I have a table in which I want to have the day of the month automatically
update whenever I open the spreadsheet.
Each month has its own row, and as the month ends, the days gone column
should stay @ the maximum number of days for that month, and the next row

MAX($B$2:$B$14)/$B$2:$B$14
I understand it as : find out the maximum value of the numbers in column B
row 2 to 14 and divided by ???
The whole formula as displayed in the formula bar is :

suppose cells contain A, B, C and D which function do I have to use to print

I have a 5 Column by many Rows Table that has "Sorting" applied to it, the
five individual cells that comprise one Row must stay together when sorted; I
use the Formula below to absolute the relevant cells in each Row. However, I
change the absoluted Row Numbers ("1:1") and ("2:2") ...

I am trying to use this formula to sum/count from another worksheet.  What am
I missing?  I keep getting a FALSE answer instead of numbers.

For example, in the following formula I would like to use a cell's
value instead of "4" or "1":
