I am trying to insert (or delete) rows in a worksheet that I have protected in order to prevent certain cells being altered. Once I have locked the specific cells, and protected the sheet, the options to "Insert" or "Delete" rows is greyed out.

About a year ago I created a giant spreadsheet that took a large download from a Financial database, and then sorted it into various categories across time, using a series of SUMIF functions that specified whole columns (almost) Row 2 to 65536.

I set up a drop down list in excel and wanted to know if there was a way to set up a predictive text feature so that i don't have to scroll through the entire list to select the correct entry. i would like to be able to type in the first two letters and have the entry appear.
