I am trying to find a function to calculate sales tax for material sold that
will round off the sales tax to the highest number. ex: for a 10. item the

I read thru many posts, but none have the same question - I don't think.
I have a column with names in it, maybe 50 unique names, but the column is
2000 cells long. I would like to know how many times each of the names is in
the column.

In EXCEL 2000, I used to get a count of the filtered number and a total
number of records in the lower left hand section of the spreadsheet.  I don't
get this feature anymore.  Did this go away with Excel 2002?
