I am using an autofilter on a set of data. I would like to use a countif field to summarize the visible cells only. So, every time I change the autofilter I would change the criteria counted. Any ideas out there?

Sometimes I get numbers from others to Excel, but when I try to make simple calculations I cannot. I though the problem is about formatting of the numbers. Apparently, this is not the case since even if I re-format it as number the problem persists. I was wondering why?
