Hey guys and girls, I'm new to the forum and hoping you can help.
I have a set of 6x6 "matrices" in excel that expand out to give 6
equations each with six unknowns (it is a formula for a composite
lamina that has the 6 known moments and forces in a column on the left

how do I display a list of numbers in thousands? For instance, how to diplay
123,500 as 124 in a quick way, instead of putting formular of 123,500/1000?

vlookup is returning incorrect information some of the time. The initial cell

I am trying to have excel return a value to me based on a number that it
compares to a fixed table of numbers.  See example below (the small x is the
