I have a worksheet with info from 2 databases. I'm trying to match names in different columns that have different formats. One has LN, FN, Initial format with info presented in 1 column (Column B), the other has LN,FN with info in 2columns, H:I, all names sorted alpha ascending.

When you are creating a vlookup, does the lookup table HAVE to be sorted alphabetically to work, or the lookup table and the original worksheet? I've been working on a lookup for a while and always get N/A so i know i'm going wrong somewhere.........

The password I had written down did not work, so apparently I changed it and failed to write it down. It is a worksheet I do not use very often and is in a file that other departments have worksheets in and view, thus the protection. I realize I blew it . . can anyone help me?
