We have part numbers like this one "ACC0123". We are trying to seperate the ACC and the 0123. However, when we do the text to column and fixed width, the "0" gets dropped. Have changed the field to be text, general, number and nothing seems to keep the "0".

I maintain an Excel spreadsheet that contains inventory information suc as Manufacturer, Model, Cost, Qty, Total Cost, Date Acquired. The column contains the dates in the mm/dd/yy format and the G colum contains the quantity of each inventory item.
