adding a range of numbers within a column based on a corresponding cell
I have two columns, one with account numbers and one with dolla
amounts. I've sorted the range so that all account numbers are groupe
together. I want Excel to add all the dollar amounts associated wit

I'm using a pivottable to addup two columns of figures, Stock and Orders
pivotted by department.  I want to show the percentage (%) of stock ordered,
by department by cant do it.

I have copied a worksheet with Autofilters but find a number of missing
entries in the new worksheet.  It does not seem to be updating itself with
either existing entries in the column or new ones being added to that column.

I would like to be able to write a comment in a cell, then have that
comment appear in another cell on a different spreadsheet within the
same workbook, though.  Or within the same spreadsheet.

I'd like to find a generic way to specify the entire data range in a
worksheet (without knowing how many rows or columns are in the worksheet).  
Is there a way to refer to the last cell in a worksheet (not just a specific
row or column)?  I see how one can use GO TO... to select ...

two columns of company names - need to take company name in right column and
