Hi,
When I drag formula down, it will copy the value of the cell, even through
the values of the formula get updated.
What I mean, if I were to drag the formula in 1A down to 3A, it would result

Is it possible to protect a worksheet and still be able to use the subtotal
(grouping and ungrouping) function in excel? I need to protect a document but

Hi.  Does anyone know if there is a formula that I can use in Excel (XP 2003)
to calculate an end date if you are given the start (9/29/2004) and then the
number of Months (6), that the formula cell would show (5/29/2005)?

I would like to find a maximum value across a row of 24 and return the title
I have given that column.
So, if the max value of row R is in cell R20, I would like the function to
return the name in cell A20.

Has anyone had a problem where dragging a formula down, and the new cells
display the value from the original cell even though the formula itself is
correct?  If I clear the cell and reenter the formula, it calculates
correctly.

Ok. I have a master worksheet that has rows containing lots of data I need.
In another worksheet, I have a short list of items I would like to select
from the master. (Master has about 5k rows, short list is approximately 90
items)
