I have Excel 2003, and get automatic Office updates.  Lately, I've noticed
that some linked cells do not automatically update when I change the value or
formula in the original cell.  I have to click on the linked cell and hit
enter before the cell will update with the changed ...

I need to count the number of "Proposals" and the number of
"RFP" separately and those two values are contained within the same
column.  Then I need cross reference that to the date completed column.

Hello, I am trying to comparing two worksheets with heavy data volume and
digging out the duplicated entries between the two worksheets. For example,

  Vendor name       Invoice Key      PO Number       Amount

How do you convert a phone number in this format xxx-xxx-xxxx to (###)
###-####?  I've tried format, cells, custom, (###) ###-#### and "(###)
###-####" but neither worked.   I can convert to ########## if needed.  I
appreciate your help.

I am trying to use the auto filter function on a sheet that has about 47000
