I love using dynamically named ranges to keep up with expanding spreadsheets,
but when I want to make a change to a named range (for example, expand the
OFFSET function to include 2 columns instead of 1, or to start at a different

I have the following code with the relevant sheet code. What I'm ytring to
achieve is when a value is entered in C5 then the Worksheet is renamed as
what is entered in C5. Only problem is that it doesn't do anything for me.
What am I doing wrong?

I need to write a VLOOKUP function that will return a value of "0" if it
finds the number for which it had searched is negative.  My thought is to use
an IF logic function together with the VLOOKUP, but I just can't seem to

I am working on a customers excel file.
Currently, when I copy a cell, it gets selected. When I click on any other
cell to
paste, the selected cell loses it's selection, and I cannot Paste.

I am putting excel files on a R/W cd.  When I open the file and make some
changes I cannot save it because it says it is read only.  I cannot save a
non-read only file to a CD without it changing to read only.
How do I correct for that

I need to calculate the elapsed time between 2 dates/timestamps.  For ex., I
need to get the elapsed time in hh:mm between:
8/20/2006 08:00:00 (hh:mm:ss) AND 8/21/2006 09:00:00.  The answer would be
25 hours in this case.  How do I do this in Excel 2000??

If you put more than 15 digits an a cell and hit enter, the cell automatical
turns all the digits past the 15th one into zeros.  Is there a way to correct
this?

I want to count all the X's in Cells A5:A10 if there is a C in Cells B5:B10.
